Job Summary
Lead and manage the full IEP process from development through implementation and progress monitoring while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local special education regulations. Partner with families, school systems, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and coordinate transition services for students across Diploma and Certificate Track programs. Train and support educators in effective special education practices and IEP implementation to foster student-centered educational services. This full-time, salaried, exempt position reports to the Director of Education within NCIA's Youth in Transition School, which supports students with intellectual, emotional, and behavioral disabilities through compassionate, individualized services.
Required Qualifications
- MSDE Certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience
- Knowledge of IEP development, compliance requirements, and special education regulations
