IEP Case Manager

Act as a liaison between special education teachers and the Office of Exceptional Education, serving as the first point of contact for staff. Assist educators with IEP questions and amendments, while reviewing all IEPs prior to submission except for speech/language only cases. Coordinate staggered IEP meeting schedules at the start of the school year and monitor timelines for Initial, Annual Review, and Re-evaluation IEPs. Work with the IEP Diagnostician to assign new students to special education teachers and submit Extended School Year rosters and reports. Ensure confidentiality procedures are maintained and attend a minimum of two training sessions annually. This extra duty assignment is evaluated by the Director of Exceptional Education and includes supplemental pay of $2,400 for the 2026-2027 school year. Preference is given to educators currently at Poca High School.
