Job Summary
Industrial Engineering Technician I at Jabil supports planning, designing, implementing, and managing production and service-delivery systems to ensure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control. Responsibilities include assisting in area preparation for line moves or process changes, updating the Product-Process-Time database (IEDB), updating/creating production visuals, ordering and validating tooling, standardizing Jabil processes, supporting Lean with data integrity for process improvement, and following security procedures. Requires knowledge of industrial engineering tools (work measurement, process mapping, facilities/workstation design), attention to detail in system updates, basic analytical ability, and basic communication skills; proficiency with PCs, Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, and AutoCAD is required.
Required Qualifications
- Basic analytical ability
- Proficiency in PC and MS Office products
- Knowledge of industrial engineering tools (e.g., work measurement, process mapping, facilities and workstation design)
- Ability to update and use IE-related systems
- Basic communication skills
- AutoCAD skills preferred
- Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project familiarity
