Job Summary
Specialist develops workload forecasts for European Customer Shared Services, publishes daily staffing plans for European customer service operations (including UPS and vendor sites) in 15-minute intervals, and creates/maintains reports, dashboards, and databases to support forecasting, staffing, recruitment, and training planning. Responsibilities include updating reports, analyzing data, producing forecasts, and coordinating with stakeholders (directors, managers, site leaders, and subcontractor representatives). Requires advanced Excel and Access skills, ability to write complex queries and build databases, and a BS in Engineering or related field (preferred). Industrial Engineering experience and internal UPS tenure are also preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) in Engineering or a related field – preferred
- Experience with advanced Microsoft Excel and Access (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, database creation and maintenance)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to write complex queries and build databases as needed
- Industrial Engineering experience – preferred
- At least 6 months employment track at current position in UPS (for internal candidates only)
