Job Summary
IE Manufacturing Technician to manage inventory, order supplies, and assemble production equipment and workstations; maintain tool crib organization, track inventory and issuing tools to employees; assist with moving/reconfiguring equipment and support 5S initiatives while following safety procedures and maintaining clean, safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, tool crib management, or manufacturing support preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to assemble equipment using hand and power tools
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to operate basic computer systems and inventory software
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move materials and equipment as required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with purchasing or supply ordering processes
- Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial environments
- Forklift certification or material handling experience
- Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing, or inventory management practices
- Experience using ERP or inventory tracking systems
