Job Summary
Lead Layout planners to develop space and transfer optimization strategies for fab expansion, technology migration, and future intelligent fab development. Drive best-in-class space utilization and transfer efficiency through modeling, simulation, and data-driven decision making. Develop long-term Fab and office space strategies, enhance transfer simulation models, and co-lead development of Global COE solutions across sites. Collaborate with IE Planning, Manufacturing, and Facility teams to improve planning effectiveness and simulation model fidelity. Simulate future-state intelligent fab designs and lead office expansion projects to support scalable, flexible growth and workplace experience.
Required Qualifications
- Lead and develop the Space Modeling team
- Develop long-term Fab and office space strategies
- Develop AI-enabled planning systems
- Drive Fab space efficiency, transfer efficiency, and Bits per Square (BPS) improvement through BKM, data-driven analysis and cost-effective solutions
- Enhance transfer simulation models to support business planning and scenario analysis
- Co-lead development and deployment of Global COE (Cross Optimization Engine) solutions across Micron sites
- Collaborate with IE Planning, Manufacturing, Facility, AMHS, HVM, and SMAI teams to identify constraints and improve planning effectiveness, forecast accuracy, and simulation model fidelity
- Simulate and develop future-state intelligent fab designs to enable scalable, flexible, and cost-effective expansion
- Lead office space planning to support employee engagement, collaboration, workplace experience, and culture development
- Lead office expansion and remodeling projects, ensuring alignment with business growth, operational requirements, and workplace strategies
