Job Summary
IE Engineer to support capacity evaluation, resource optimization, and continuous improvement of production efficiency. Responsibilities include establishing standard working hours and personnel quotas, planning factory layout, optimizing logistics and space, improving line balance, conducting operational and process analysis, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, strong background in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and SPC, as well as experience with 5S, TPM, VSM, SOPs/WIs, and CAD/Visio for layouts. Must have good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, and be proficient in English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial preferred)
- Proven track record of successful process improvement and optimization projects
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and SPC
- Experience with 5S, TPM, the 7 wastes, VSM
- Experience creating SOPs and WI, workstation optimization
- CAD/Visio for drawing production line layouts and process flowcharts
- Basic data analysis and efficiency/uptime rate calculation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
