Job Summary
Senior Solution Specialist in Global Presales who will lead technical sessions and deliver product demonstrations to educate customers on Okta’s Identity Platform for secure on-premises environments and hybrid access. Responsibilities include designing tailored hybrid architectures around Okta Access Gateway, leading POCs to prove value for legacy apps, maintaining and presenting solution content and diagrams, building demo templates and AI-enabled delivery tooling, and providing technical leadership across Solutions Engineering. This remote role includes travel to customer sites and industry events (up to 40%) and collaboration with the Global Office of the Field CTO and other stakeholders to align product messaging and drive customer success.
Required Qualifications
- Legacy WAM & Hybrid Identity Mastery
- Web Access Management tools: CA Siteminder, Oracle Access Manager (OAM), PingAccess
- Hybrid Identity & on-premises integration with AD/LDAP
- Kerberos, header-based authentication, OIDC/SAML bridging
- Experience with enterprise apps (SAP, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft)
- Knowledge of security tools: SIEM/SOAR integration
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Travel up to 40% for customer meetings and events
