Job Summary
Provide home-based speech-language pathology services to pediatric IDD patients in the Bronx and across all five boroughs, including initial assessments, development of care plans with measurable goals, documenting progress, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team; role includes conducting assessments, delivering rehabilitative services, preparing discharge summaries, and guiding family/caregiver training, with a focus on pediatric populations and availability after 3pm; requires MS degree, ASHA certification, NY licensure, and ability to travel to patients' homes (travel stipend offered); full-time position with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA)
- License and current registration to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York State
- Ability to conduct home visits and serve IDD population; pediatric experience is preferred
