Job Summary
Implement and evaluate therapeutic programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, planning individual activities and providing direct care for personal hygiene, feeding, mobility, and medication administration. Liaise with Provider Care Coordinators and family members while documenting services, monitoring facility and vehicle maintenance, and executing behavior management programs. Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team, fostering a safe environment through emergency interventions and positive role modeling. Requires six months of work experience and knowledge of therapeutic techniques. Schedule includes Thursday and Friday evenings (11 PM–7 AM) and weekends (7 PM–7 AM).
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to assess and evaluate classroom effectiveness and implement changes as indicated
- Must have six months of any type of work experience
- Must be knowledgeable of therapeutic techniques and modalities of working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Must be able to exercise independent judgment
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals and co-workers
- Must be able to work Thurs & Friday - 11 PM - 7 AM | Saturday & Sunday - 7 PM - 7 AM
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer working computer skills including MS Word and Excel
