Job Summary
Implement therapeutic programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including planning individual activities, administering medications, and managing behavior interventions. Provide direct care services covering personal hygiene, food preparation, mobility, and community access while maintaining accurate documentation and complying with safety procedures. Liaise with Provider Care Coordinators and family members, serve on interdisciplinary teams, and assist with facility and vehicle maintenance. Foster a safe, clean environment and model positive behaviors for those served. Requires six months of work experience, knowledge of therapeutic techniques, and ability to exercise independent judgment with minimal supervision.

- Must be able to assess and evaluate classroom effectiveness and implement changes as indicated
- Must have six months of any type of work experience
- Must be knowledgeable of therapeutic techniques and modalities of working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Exercise independent judgment
- Be able to work with minimal supervision
- Communicate effectively with individuals and co-workers
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer working computer skills including MS Word and Excel
