Job Summary
Lead or co-lead projects enhancing IDB Invest's balance sheet management framework, including ALM, capital management, and funds transfer pricing. Perform analysis and monitoring of balance sheet risks such as interest rate, liquidity, and foreign exchange risks, while conducting IRRBB analyses, scenario testing, and stress testing to support strategy development. Act as technical lead in cross-functional groups to shape strategic discussions on ALM and balance sheet management. Support implementation of Treasury and ALM systems, data processes, governance documentation, and reporting capabilities. Develop quantitative models, analytical tools, and dashboards to strengthen ALM analytics. Prepare recurring and ad hoc analyses for ALCO and governance committees. Collaborate with Treasury, Risk Management, Controllership, Technology, and business teams on balance sheet initiatives and strategic transactions. Provide analytical support for new products affecting the balance sheet.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in Treasury, ALM or Risk Management
- Proficiency in English
- Citizenship in one of the 48-member countries
- No family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab
