IDAM Architect - AI - Identity & Access Management

Job Summary
Own and define architecture and engineering standards for AI developer tooling and copilots used by IAM teams, including Mistral Code, Copilot, Gemini, and ClawdBot. Develop and maintain reusable integration patterns to ensure secure, consistent, and efficient implementation while collaborating with IAM, security, and engineering teams to align with organizational requirements. Continuously monitor and improve these patterns to adapt to platform changes and emerging risks, providing technical leadership on best practices. Ensure AI tools support IAM workflows effectively while maintaining security and operational resilience. This 6-month hybrid contract (3 days onsite in London or Sheffield) is inside IR35 within a leading financial services organization.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Identity & Access Management architecture and engineering
- Strong knowledge of AI developer tools and copilots such as Mistral Code, Copilot, Gemini, and ClawdBot
- Proven ability to define and enforce architecture and engineering standards
- Experience designing reusable integration patterns and frameworks
- Deep understanding of secure implementation practices and compliance requirements
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across IAM, security, and engineering teams
- This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week onsite in London or Sheffield
- The contract is inside IR35
