Job Summary
Lead accounting, finance, revenue cycle, billing, coding, or patient financial services functions in rural Idaho healthcare organizations. Manage month-end and year-end close processes, develop budgets and forecasts, and strengthen billing, collections, and reimbursement performance. Monitor key metrics, ensure compliance with payer and regulatory requirements, and prepare for audits. Oversee patient accounts, financial counseling, and collection processes while developing policies, workflows, and internal controls. Train finance and revenue cycle employees and collaborate with clinical, operational, IT, and executive leaders to support organizational sustainability. This role connects you with current or upcoming leadership opportunities across Critical Access Hospitals, rural health clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and public hospital districts.
Required Qualifications
- Progressive experience in healthcare finance, accounting, revenue cycle, billing, coding, reimbursement, or patient financial services
- Previous leadership experience as a director, manager, controller, supervisor, or comparable leader
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, payer requirements, billing practices, and financial operations
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and patient-pay accounts
- An understanding of hospital, clinic, or healthcare-system workflows
- Experience analyzing financial or revenue cycle performance and communicating findings to leadership
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and team-development skills
- Experience with Critical Access Hospitals, Rural Health Clinics, FQHCs, public hospital districts, or community healthcare organizations
- Relevant education or professional credentials based on the position
- A collaborative and relationship-focused leadership style
