Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities. Assess the patient’s mental status, diagnose DSM-V disorders, develop treatment plans, apply psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments, and staff clinical cases with psychiatrists; licensed in Idaho by the Board of Nursing with psychiatry focus; Idaho Pharmacy license/DEA; geriatric psych experience; EMR/EHR familiarity; Spanish a plus; flexible schedule; full-time or part-time with W2 billable model.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Idaho by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Idaho Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
- 1 year of Geri Psych Experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
- Basic computer knowledge
- Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus)
- Excellent written communication
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible, organized and functions under stressful situations
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus!
