Job Summary
Deliver audit support services aligned with KPMG methodologies by participating in planning, execution, documentation, and reporting phases. Prepare and maintain audit documentation and working papers while reviewing work to ensure accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, meet deadlines, and contribute to process improvements. Additionally, spend 10% of time supporting junior colleagues and coordinating team activities. This Level 4.i role within the Audit Delivery Academy UK team in Bucharest supports UK-based engagements for professionals with 3–5 years of audit experience, strong English skills, and knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields
- 3–5 years of experience in audit and/or accounting
- Good knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards (RAS) and IFRS
- Advanced English skills (written and spoken)
- Romanian required
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous exposure to team coordination or mentoring is a plus
- Professional certifications (ACCA, CAFR, or similar) – nice to have
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in shared service or delivery centers is an advantage
