Job Summary
ID Program Specialist (L1) performs administrative-level professional work focused on reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, monitoring, and coordinating Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) under the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP). Responsibilities include providing technical assistance to contracted providers and agency staff, contributing to program planning, development, and implementation, and supporting QA activities such as QM certification, QM Plan updates, incident review in EIM, data monitoring from EIM/HCSIS, CI investigations, quarterly HRC meetings, employment SME duties, ISPs oversight in HCSIS, and policy/procedure development aligned with ODP requirements. The role includes travel up to ~25%, hybrid in-office schedule (2 days/week in office), and benefits including health, retirement, PTO, tuition reimbursement, PSLF eligibility, and other insurances.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field
- A minimum of two years of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities to serve as the county program’s Administrative Entity/IDD Program Director
- Maintains a high standard of confidentiality with all protected health information and remain in compliance with HIPPA regulations and all applicable federal and state laws
- Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
- Must pass a physical, TB shot, and a drug screen
