Job Summary
Clinical faculty position in Infectious Diseases at McGovern Medical School, UTHealth Houston. Responsibilities include inpatient ID consultation services and outpatient ID clinics, teaching medical students, internal medicine residents, and infectious diseases fellows, with exposure to transplant and surgical ID services. Potential for clinical or basic research, leadership and mentoring of clinical staff, development of programs to improve patient care, and collaboration across departments. Required Qualifications
- MD degree
- Texas Medical License or eligibility for a Texas Faculty Temporary License
- Board certification in Internal Medicine and board certification or board eligibility in Infectious Diseases with minimum of two years of Infectious Diseases fellowship training
