Job Summary
Assist Lake Oswego High School's football program as a Seasonal High School Assistant Football Coach. Responsibilities include providing a positive learning environment for athletes, teaching essential football skills, managing athlete behavior during training sessions, meets, and events, taking precautions to protect students and facilities, upholding school rules and policies, attending all meets and events, serving as a positive role model, and participating in coaches’ meetings. Certifications in NFHS Coaches Certification Program (ASEP), First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogen, and ongoing coaches training are required at the start of the season. Must verify identity and employment authorization, and complete required pre-employment checks and fingerprint/verification processes.
Required Qualifications
- Certification through the NFHS Coaches Certification Program (ASEP) is required of all coaches at the beginning of their coaching assignment, prior to the start of the season.
- First Aid Certification, Bloodborne Pathogen and Coaches Certification training are required and can be obtained through the district.
