Job Summary
High School Assistant Basketball Coach at Lakeridge High School. Responsibilities include providing a positive learning environment for athletes, teaching skills for successful performance, managing athlete behavior during training, meets and events, safeguarding students and property, upholding school rules, attending all meets/events, and attending coaches' meetings. Requires NFHS Coaches Certification (ASEP) prior to season start, plus First Aid Certification and Bloodborne Pathogen and Coaches Certification training. Pre-employment identity/employment verification and fingerprint-based criminal history verification are required, with associated fees.
Required Qualifications
- Certification through the NFHS Coaches Certification Program (ASEP) is required of all coaches at the beginning of their coaching assignment, prior to the start of the season.
- First Aid Certification, Bloodborne Pathogen and Coaches Certification training are required and can be obtained through the district.
- The person employed must verify identity and employment authorization and complete pre-employment checks including fingerprint history verification.
