Job Summary
Conduct ICU care as part of a flex pool with 12-hour shifts, working three shifts weekly on an every-other-weekend schedule. Maintain 24 months of critical care experience, including recent float pool work, while holding required certifications in ACLS, TNCC, BLS, and NIHSS. Submit only if you possess an Iowa or compact license, reside over 60 miles from the facility, and are fully vaccinated with a booster. Complete mandatory pre-employment modules and provide a charge/lead reference from the last two years. This assignment includes 14 days of maximum time off and runs for 13 weeks starting ASAP.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience
- 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- 3 months of travel experience
- Iowa license or compact license
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Live >60 miles from facility
- COVID vaccination
- COVID booster
- No current placement at Program: Trinity (Direct) Program - Main
- Cannot currently be employed anywhere else on a per-diem basis
- 1 Charge/Lead reference from within the last 2 years
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
