ICU RN PRN

ICU RN PRN provides patient-centered nursing care in ICU and across specialized units (Critical Care RN, OR Services RN, Cardiac Surgery RN, NICU RN, etc.), administers medications, monitors equipment (ventilators, IV pumps), performs thorough patient assessments, adheres to infection control protocols, collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, responds to emergencies (CPR/code), participates in audits and performance-improvement initiatives, and educates patients and families about conditions and post-discharge care. The role requires strong knowledge of nursing processes, safety standards, and the ability to document care and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.
