Job Summary
The ICU RN provides professional nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit, assessing physical, social, and psychological status; collaboratively develops an individualized plan of care with the interdisciplinary team; implements and delegates care per plan and licensure provisions; evaluates patient responses and revises plans as needed; ensures accurate timely documentation and maintains licensure compliance; fosters education for patients and families and participates in ongoing professional development. Responsibilities include coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, prioritizing patient needs, and upholding standards of ethical and regulatory practice while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of 4/27/2025
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
