Job Summary
ICU RN provides direct patient care in an intensive care setting, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plans, coordinates care, ensures accurate documentation, adheres to licensure provisions, and prioritizes patient safety. Requires BSN per recent update and active RN license; BSN within 4 years for RNs with <12 months experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; strong critical thinking, communication, and patient care coordination skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
