Job Summary
Deliver, coordinate, and supervise patient care to individuals admitted to the nursing unit under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse. Utilize the nursing process to plan, direct, and provide interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization while accessing community resources. Perform assigned duties including Charge Nurse responsibilities, requiring ACLS certification. Requires current RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications within 90 days of employment. Hourly rate ranges from $42 to $58 with shift differentials and referral bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
- Current BLS certification
- Evidence of ACLS certification within 90 days of employment
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
- Current ACLS certification for Charge Nurses
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
