Job Summary
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct care for patients in a rural critical-access hospital setting. Duties include implementing physicians’ orders, administering medications and starting IVs, performing treatments and tests, documenting care, communicating with providers about labs and patient status, and ensuring timely completion of diagnostic tests. The role involves assessing patient needs, applying nursing judgment to care plans, providing primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries, collaborating with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care, directing ancillary staff, maintaining HIPAA confidentiality, and remaining flexible to cross-train as needed. Requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and active Kansas RN licensure; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred; clinical experience in the area of work preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse licensure with the State of Kansas
- Credentials required per CRMC policy, state and regulatory requirements for unit assigned
- Bachelor's or master’s degree, preferred
