Job Summary
Deliver safe patient care in the ICU by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Direct patient/family teaching and guide activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care. Communicate with physicians regarding changes in clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and diagnostic study results, responding quickly to patient condition changes. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality for assigned patients. Requires current state RN license, BLS, and ACLS certificates; one year acute care experience preferred. Part-time, 12-hour day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
