Job Summary
Deliver high-acuity, patient-centered care in a 10-bed ICU with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3. Conduct thorough patient assessments, administer medications, and manage complex equipment including ventilators, arterial lines, and temporary pacemakers. Respond to medical emergencies, perform life-saving interventions, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans. Provide patient and family education on medical conditions and post-discharge care while adhering to infection control protocols and National Patient Safety Goals. Maintain regular attendance and participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation
