Job Summary
Clean and disinfect kennels, treatment areas, exam rooms, and hospital equipment while maintaining a safe, organized ICU environment. Restrain patients safely for examinations and treatments, then walk, feed, and monitor hospitalized pets as directed. Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians with patient care, daily hospital operations, patient transport, and emergency procedures. Stock supplies to ensure treatment areas remain fully equipped and launder bedding to uphold cleanliness standards. Work overnight shifts on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays in a fast-paced emergency and specialty veterinary hospital. Learn veterinary assistant skills through on-the-job training and mentorship from the medical team.
