Job Summary
Conduct ICU float pool duties including critical care float assignments, acute care support, and potential coverage of additional units and locations. Maintain a night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, working three 12-hour shifts weekly with a maximum of 10 days off. Hold a North Carolina or compact license, a driver's license, and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Submit only if residing more than 50 miles from the facility and have no current placement at HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division. Pre-employment modules may be required, and a charge or lead reference from the last 12 months is needed.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience
- 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience
- 9 months within the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- North Carolina license or compact license
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division
- Pre-employment modules
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
- Driver's license
