Job Summary
Conduct ICU float pool duties with a 12-hour night shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) three shifts per week for a 13-week contract. Maintain a North Carolina or compact license, hold required certifications including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS, and provide a Charge/Lead reference from the last 12 months. Minimum 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience is required, with 9 months in the last year. Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility, hold a driver's license, and submit all time off requests via the application portal. Auto-offer positions require a clear Yes/No response within 24 hours; scheduling requests are coordinated directly with the manager upon assignment start.
Required Qualifications
- 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months
- 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 9 months within the last 12 months
- 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months
- North Carolina license or compact license
- Travel only, local not allowed
- Candidates must live >50 miles from facility
- No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North Carolina Division
- Driver's license
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- 1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
