Job Summary
ICU & ED Float - Travel Registered Nurse responsible for floating between ICU and ED, functioning as caregiver and care manager, with potential to serve as charge nurse. Requires 12 months of ICU/critical care float pool experience, WA license or compact license, and active certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, PEARS, CEN). Strong emphasis on coordinating and delegating patient care, maintaining compliance with state requirements, and adapting to a fast-paced travel assignment with 13-week duration, 12-hour shifts, and 3 shifts per week. Notable: travel-only role with >100 miles from the facility and no local placements; multiple required certifications and pre-employment modules.
Required Qualifications
- Washington license or compact license (required after submission)
- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
- 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
- 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
- Pre-employment modules may be required.
