Job Summary
Administer anesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures while monitoring vital signs before, during, and after care. Lead clinical management of critically ill patients by performing advanced life support, managing mechanical ventilation, and responding to clinical deterioration. Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and on-call duties. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based protocols and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Requires MBBS, MDCN registration, and practicing license with minimum two years post-ICU experience.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS (mandatory)
- Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
- Valid annual practicing license
- 0–2 years post-qualification experience
- Endotracheal intubation
- Basic and Advanced Life Support (BLS/ACLS)
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Availability: Everyday (shift-based and on-call duties as required)
