ICU/Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN)-Southeast 2 Market Resource Pool (SAMCH, SPAH, & SVBGH)

ICU/Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) in the Southeastern 2 Market Regional Resource Pool. Self-scheduling flexi/PRN Night Shift with at least 72 hours scheduled per 6-week period (12 hrs/week) and premium differential pay. Requires a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care RN experience and must be able to work in all units for which qualified. Residency within 90 minutes of Sentara Albemarle Medical Center (Elizabeth City, NC), Sentara Princess Anne Hospital (Virginia Beach, VA), and Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital (Virginia Beach, VA). Performs professional nursing duties in accordance with nursing process and standards of practice, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. Demonstrates ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality, and resource utilization. Requires active RN license and compliance with BLS within 90 days of hire. This role emphasizes flexibility with a self-scheduling model and PRN night shifts across multiple units.
