ICS: AFHE Senior Maintenance Technician (Travel)

Job Summary
Senior AFHE Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, modifying, and installing Automated Fueling System Equipment (AFHE) across multiple sites worldwide to support DoD fuel management. Roles include efficient time/resource management, documentation and deliverable tracking, coordinating customer-site work, stakeholder engagement, installing PLC panels (including PLCs, VFDs, and control wiring), troubleshooting automation equipment (PLC logic, relays, sensors, I/O modules, motor control), programming or modifying control systems (ladder logic, structured text, HMI graphics), and performing other duties as assigned. Requires strong electrical knowledge, PLC programming experience with major vendors, ability to read schematics and P&IDs, and capability to travel 100% with a willingness to perform physically demanding tasks. Prefers current government CAC and security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to pass NACLC security background check
- 2 years of automated bulk fuel storage experience
- Strong electrical knowledge (AC circuits, low voltage DC control)
- Experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron)
- Ability to read control schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, ladder logic
- Proficient with hand tools and diagnostic equipment (multimeters, calibration tools)
- Understanding of NEC code and NFPA 70e
- Proficiency with Ethernet/IP, Modbus RTU/TCP/IP
- Ability to travel 100%
- Willingness to lift 40 lbs, climb stairs to heights, physical work
