Job Summary
House Person responsible for ensuring that all grounds and public areas are clean and free of debris; provides support for the Room Attendants and Laundry Attendants. Assists Housekeeping with removal of soiled linen and trash from guest rooms; conducts continuous rounds of removal from assigned rooms; transports soiled linen to Laundry and sorts; accepts deliveries for Housekeeping and Laundry; removes trash from Room Attendants’ areas; empties and cleans trash containers; refills par stock of guest amenities; operates rug cleaning machine; sweeps balconies, cleans windows; vacuums and cleans stairwells and elevator areas; assists with heavy lifting; responds to Front Desk as requested; reports maintenance issues to Facilities; strives to meet and exceed guests’ expectations; participates in weekly Aloha Culture Meeting; must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 75 lbs, and work at a high pace; role is full-time requiring nights, weekends, and holidays; education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent; prior housekeeping experience preferred.
