Job Summary
Mix and prepare cake icing and filling according to recipes and production requirements by measuring ingredients accurately and operating mixing equipment. Check equipment for cleanliness, track batches and temperatures, and enter production data into a computer system. Communicate with the production line to ensure adequate icing availability while maintaining sanitary work areas. Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures, including working around common allergens. This role requires standing for an entire shift, lifting up to 100 lbs, and pulling large wheeled bowls weighing over 750 lbs. Candidates must be comfortable with repetitive movements, basic math and computer skills, and working overtime as needed in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer and scanner skills
- Ability to read and write English
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to stand for an entire shift and perform repetitive tasks
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting required
- Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs
- Must be able to push and pull large wheeled bowls weighing over 750 lbs
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed
- Must be able to work around common food allergens, including dairy, eggs, gluten, soy, peanuts, seafood, and shellfish
