Job Summary
Sales Associate at icebreaker and Smartwool in Vancouver Premium Outlets. You will be the face of the brand, delivering energy, authenticity and a customer-first mindset. Responsibilities include engaging with customers, sharing product knowledge, driving sales to meet individual and team goals, contributing to visual merchandising and store presentation, performing cashier duties, supporting loss prevention, maintaining an organized store, and upholding company policies and safety standards. Must excel in a fast-paced retail environment, possess strong communication skills, and be ready to learn about the products and brand. Minimum required experience: 0–1 year; education preference: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; hands-on experience and demonstrated achievements valued
- Ability to engage with a diverse group of customers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Customer service experience preferred; retail experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn and share product and brand knowledge
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills including basic retail systems and applications
- Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform physical tasks (bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, lifting light to moderate weight)
