Job Summary
Maintain curling and skating ice surfaces through daily scraping, pebbling, cleaning, and installation of ice equipment. Monitor refrigeration systems and humidity levels to ensure compliance with TSSA standards. Support league, bonspiel, and junior program operations by managing member registrations, records, and related software databases. Promote events via social media and ensure up-to-date website content while assisting with lounge setup for member events. Participate in Golf Operations during the summer season. This year-round role supports both Curling (September to April) and Golf Operations (May to August) at Donalda Club, offering professional development opportunities in both sports.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ice maintenance with a history of quality results
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Able to perform medium-heavy physical work
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Criminal background check (for candidates 18 years or older)
Desired Qualifications
- Level 2 Ice Technician certification
- Level 1 Ice Technician certification
- Curling administration experience
