Job Summary
Ice Rink Operations Manager responsible for all aspects of facility maintenance and ice production operations, including ice maintenance, flooding, refrigeration plant operation, janitorial and building maintenance; scheduling, supervising and training staff; budgeting and cost control; and serving as a key member of the facility management team. Oversees staff development, safety compliance, CAPEX project coordination, asset maintenance in the FAME system, and coordination of ice production schedules with Sales and Program staff. Requires Refrigerator Operator Certificate, 2-3 years supervising experience, 3-4 years in ice maintenance/ice painting, HVAC understanding, and strong English communication and MS Office skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Refrigerator Operator Certificate.
- Must have 2-3 years experience supervising people.
- Must have 3-4 years on ice maintenance and ice painting.
- A good understanding of ice resurface operation and repair.
- A good understanding of H.V.A.C. operation & maintenance.
- All round knowledge of mechanical equipment and facility maintenance.
- Strong communication skills both written and oral (English).
- Computer skills, MS Office.
