Job Summary
Operate and monitor ice-making and ice-distribution equipment while supplying ice to processing, packaging, and storage areas to ensure continuous availability for production. Inspect equipment regularly, report malfunctions, and remove excess ice to maintain clean, safe work areas. Follow established food safety, quality assurance, and sanitation procedures while complying with Tyson Foods policies, USDA regulations, and plant safety requirements. Maintain accurate communication with supervisors regarding ice supply needs and assist with general production and sanitation duties as assigned. This 2nd shift role supports poultry processing operations by ensuring proper ice distribution and handling in accordance with company standards and regulations.
