Job Summary
Operate and maintain ice resurfacing machines to perform floods, shaves, and cuts, ensuring a consistently smooth and safe surface. Monitor temperature, humidity, and ice depth for events, while executing daily maintenance schedules on resurfacers, compressors, chillers, and HVAC systems. Prepare rinks for games and practices, and clean rink areas, benches, locker rooms, and common spaces, including repairs to dasher boards and shields. Requires 3+ years of ice resurfacing experience, proficiency in operating machinery, and understanding of refrigeration and HVAC systems. Full-time or part-time roles available with hourly rates between $25.00 and $30.00. Benefits include 401(k) savings and matching. Position remains open until November 6, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of previous experience with Ice Resurfacing
- Proficiency in operating ice resurfacers and related machinery
- Understanding of refrigeration, HVAC, and ice-making systems
- Strong mechanical and custodial skills
- Attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to work in varied conditions (including lifting heavy equipment)
- Strong communication skills
