Job Summary
Ice Guard/Rentals Representative monitors public skating sessions to ensure a safe, enjoyable environment and maintains rental skates; administers skate rentals, supervises skating for safety, assists with custodial duties, provides excellent customer service, and follows emergency procedures and evacuation plans. Role involves sweeping/cleaning, skate counter operation, sanitization of rentals, and occasional first-aid as required; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours in a fast-paced arena setting.
Required Qualifications
- 16 years or older
- Ability to work various hours including mid-day, evenings, weekends
- Skating ability and pass a skating test (preferred)
- Good attitude and willingness to work
- Professional appearance
- Experience in ice-skating rink preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
