Job Summary
Skate onto the ice to remove snow and ice build-up during media timeouts and assist with arena tear downs on select nights. Provide handouts and interact with fans while working with the promotional team at arena entrances. Execute in-game promotions including T-shirt tosses, game ceremonies, and intermission contests, while assisting with game operations as assigned. Maintain a fun, positive environment for guests through stellar customer service. This role requires 95% availability for Bakersfield Condors 2026-2027 home games, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be proficient ice-skaters with experience in ice rink settings and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- experience working in an ice rink setting
- comfortable in front of large crowds
- proficient ice-skater
- able to stand or sit in one location for a minimum of four hours at a time
- flexible schedule
- ability to work various shifts, including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays
- 95% availability for Bakersfield Condors 2026-2027 home games
- comfortable and able to lift up to 30 lbs
