Job Summary
The Ice Cream Specialist at United Dairy Farmers is responsible for providing outstanding guest service by preparing hand-dipped ice cream treats and ensuring efficient store operations. Key responsibilities include delivering the UDF Hi Five Guest Experience, operating the point of sale system, stocking merchandise, maintaining store security, managing cleanliness and safety, and accurately completing required records. Candidates should have strong communication skills in English, the ability to manage various store operations, and physical capabilities for handling merchandise and maintaining equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, and credit transactions
- Ability to recognize numbers and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise for display
- Ability to clean surfaces
- Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures
- Ability to lift weights up to 21 pounds
