Job Summary
The Ice Cream Specialist at United Dairy Farmers is responsible for providing excellent guest service through ensuring an outstanding dining experience, preparing shakes, malts, and hand-dipped ice cream, operating POS systems, stocking merchandise, maintaining store security, and ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the store environment. Candidates must possess strong communication skills, the ability to handle money accurately, and the physical capability to meet the store's operational demands.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, and credit transactions
- Ability to recognize numbers and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise and place for proper display
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to varying temperatures
- Ability to lift at least 10 pounds
- Ability to place packages into dip cabinets
