Job Summary
The Ice Cream Specialist at United Dairy Farmers is responsible for providing outstanding guest service through the Hi Five Guest Experience. Key responsibilities include preparing hand-dipped ice cream, shakes, and malts, operating the POS system, stocking merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization. The role requires effective communication with customers, basic arithmetic skills for transactions, and the ability to tolerate varying temperature conditions while handling and moving merchandise.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions
- Ability to recognize numbers and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to low and high temperatures
- Ability to lift weights up to 21 pounds
