Job Summary
The Ice Cream Specialist is responsible for providing outstanding customer service through The Hi Five Guest Experience, making hand-dipped ice cream products, and ensuring efficient operations of the store. The role includes maintaining a clean and organized environment, stocking merchandise, handling transactions accurately, and actively monitoring for security issues. Candidates must possess strong communication skills in English, the ability to operate store equipment, and lift moderate weights. Previous experience is not required, but a positive attitude and willingness to engage with guests is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively with customers
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment and recognize identification documents
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps accurately
- Ability to recognize numbers, count, and do arithmetic well
- Ability to move merchandise for proper display
- Ability to clean counters and surfaces
- Ability to tolerate low temperatures for a short duration
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place packages weighing up to 21 pounds into a dip cabinet
