Job Summary
As an Ice Cream Specialist, you will provide exceptional service by following the UDF Hi Five Guest Experience. Key responsibilities include preparing shakes, malts, and ice cream cones, operating the Point of Sale system, stocking merchandise, maintaining security, and ensuring cleanliness and organization of the store. Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess the ability to communicate effectively in English, operate store equipment, handle monetary transactions, and tolerate exposure to varying temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear, and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment and check identification documents
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions, coupons and food stamps
- Ability to recognize numbers, count, and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise from storage to shelves/displays/freezers
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to extreme temperatures
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from the floor level to a height of 5 feet
- Ability to place an 8” x 10” x 10” package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet at a height of 3 feet
