Job Summary
The Ice Cream Specialist is responsible for providing outstanding service to guests, preparing hand-dipped cones, shakes, and malts, and ensuring the efficient operation of the store. Key responsibilities include following company policies, managing the Point of Sale system, stocking merchandise, maintaining security, and keeping the store clean and organized. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to handle cash, and physical capabilities to manage store equipment and stock.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English
- Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment
- Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit transactions
- Ability to recognize numbers, count and do arithmetic
- Ability to move merchandise
- Ability to clean counters and other surfaces
- Ability to tolerate exposure to low temperatures
- Ability to raise at least 10 pounds
- Ability to place a package into a dip cabinet
